The subject of this Call is to support the development of innovative digital and green technologies, products, and processes. By supporting demand-driven development and reducing the risks associated with early and mid-stage innovation, this Call contributes to the creation of a pipeline of solutions aligned with Croatia’s digital transformation and green transition priorities. It also reinforces cross-cutting objectives such as environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, and digital inclusion, contributing to a more resilient and future-ready economy. The goal is to provide targeted and flexible funding for experimental R&D projects that are not yet ready for market uptake or conventional innovation financing.
Total grant funding available: €10,000,000.00
Minimum grant amount: €80,000.00
Maximum grant amount: €300,000.00

We inform all potential applicants for the SPARK call (DIGIT.2.1.03) that responses to all relevant questions received by August 28, 2026 will be published in the FAQ section on the official Call webpage, no later than September 4, 2026. Questions submitted after August 28, 2026 will not be subject to further clarification.
Announcement (July 29, 2026): Update to the Annex I.
The Annex I. has been updated to correct an identified writing error in the Exclusion List regarding the testing on animals that may have led to wrong conclusions regarding ineligible activities.
