On 18 February 2026, the national Info Day for the European Innovation Council (EIC) was held in Zagreb, organised by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, HAMAG-BICRO and the Croatian Science Foundation. The event aimed to inform and encourage potential applicants to participate in EIC calls and presented the 2026 work programme.

During the event, the DIGIT project was also presented, highlighting the possibility of alternative funding for EIC Pre-accelerator projects that received the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence but were not funded due to budget limitations.

All Seal of Excellence holders are invited to review the call documentation Seal of Excellence under the Synergies program available on the DIGIT website and submit their projects to take advantage of this funding opportunity and further develop their innovation.
