Second workshop of the Technology Scouting Program successfully held on the topic of business validation
The second workshop of the Technology Scouting Program, implemented as part of the DIGIT project – Digital, Innovative, and Green Technologies, with the support of the World Bank, was held in Zagreb on January 20 and 21, 2025. The workshop focused on business validation, a crucial step in the commercialization of innovations.
The workshop emphasized the importance of business validation in creating sustainable technological solutions that meet market needs. Participants worked on real-world examples, exchanging experiences and knowledge with mentors and peers.
The workshop brought together 20 technology scouts who had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of methods for assessing the market potential of innovations, identifying target users, and preparing for Proof of Concept (PoC) projects through interactive lectures and practical exercises.
The Technology Scouting Program is a key component of the DIGIT project, a strategic initiative with a total value of 106 million euros, aimed at strengthening Croatia’s innovation ecosystem through technology transfer, the development of a deep-tech start-up ecosystem, and building capacities for market application of research.
