As part of the DIGIT project, the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth has published a new call for proposals: Professionalization of Research Centers (DIGIT.1.2.03).

The Call is aimed at strengthening the operational and management capacities of Croatian public research organizations (ROs) in order to address challenges such as underutilized infrastructure, limited collaboration with the private sector, and the lack of a business-oriented approach in managing research centers.

Through employment of managers and support for optimizing infrastructure use, capacity building, networking, and visibility, the Call promotes better resource allocation and sustainable collaboration with industry – with the aim of increasing the efficiency and impact of research.

The total amount of grant funding available is €5,000,000. Individual project proposals may receive funding ranging from €60,000 to a maximum of €350,000. Eligible applicants are research organizations that meet the eligibility requirements.

Project proposals may be submitted between June 13, 2025 and September 1, 2025, via the eDIGIT platform.
