Technology scouting

The Program is designed to support innovative companies and those with innovation ambitions by enhancing their understanding of the innovation cycle and promoting effective utilization of the academic sector. One of the key principles of the Program is to help these companies define their needs and challenges, and effectively find matching expertise in academia. The Program recognizes the importance of innovation in driving economic growth and competitiveness and aims to provide support to companies that are looking to develop new products, services, or processes.

The program will provide ongoing support from scouts or other experts for the development and implementation of Proof of Concept (PoC). Participants can select technology scouts from an approved list, who offer key services such as business validation and PoC preparation. The process ensures quality and customization to meet user needs, with the possibility of termination if results are unsatisfactory. However, by choosing scouts from a pre-approved list and ensuring continuous mentorship, the risk of substandard service is significantly reduced, and appropriate project progress is secured.

The program has the potential to bridge critical gaps between innovative companies and academic research, thereby driving economic growth and competitiveness. It addresses the challenges companies face in defining their innovation needs and identifying suitable expertise within the academic community, which is essential for developing new, market-applicable technologies. In doing so, the program enhances companies’ innovation capacity and contributes to the broader innovation ecosystem.
