New Call for Proposals Published under the Technology Scouting Program

The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth has published a new call for proposals within the DIGIT Project, aimed at strengthening collaboration between innovative companies and the research community with the support of technology scouts.

The call is focused on encouraging innovative small and medium-sized enterprises to identify and define their technological needs and connect with academic experts through the assistance of technology scouts. This initiative contributes to reducing the gap between the private sector and academia by fostering knowledge transfer, research, and innovation, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of companies.

Applications will be accepted from 21 May 2026 until 31 December 2026.

The total budget of the call amounts to €2,000,000, while grants per project can range from €30,000 to €70,000. Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This Call represents a significant step in enabling companies to access specialized research and development expertise and accelerate the development of innovative solutions through collaboration with the academic community. Applicants are required to engage certified technology scouts when preparing their project proposals.
