On Thursday, 10 July 2026 at 14:00 (CEST), the DIGIT Project is hosting a free online info workshop dedicated to the SPARK call (Support Program for Applied Research and Knowledge). The workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams and will run for up to two hours.

SPARK is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that wish to invest in research and the development of new products, technologies or processes. Unlike the VALID call, SPARK focuses on the development of general research and development projects and on strengthening companies’ capacity for the longer-term development of innovations. All projects are expected to contribute to the competitiveness of the Croatian economy through the development of digital or green technologies or processes, at a stage when the project is not yet sufficiently developed for commercialisation or standard investment models.

The call is worth a total of ten million euros, and offers grants ranging from 80,000 to 300,000 euros per project.

During the workshop, participants will learn how the call works, who can apply, and how to shape a proposal that stands out. Participation is free of charge, and registration for the workshop is open until 8 July 2026 at 16:00 on this link.
