On Thursday, December 18, 2025, marking the 63rd anniversary of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb, Director-General of the Science and Technology Directorate, Hrvoje Meštrić, PhD, participated in Varaždin at the organized ceremonial session.

“In the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, we are proud to support one of the most important infrastructural projects in the history of FOI – the construction of the new FOI 2 building in Varaždin, financed through a World Bank loan under the DIGIT project. The investment is estimated at 20 million euros, and its goal is to create a modern campus that will provide students and researchers with top-quality conditions for work, innovation, and collaboration, fostering the development of digital competences and professionals for the future,” stated Director-General Meštrić in his address, concluding by congratulating the Faculty management and all students on their Faculty Day.
